About the Role
Hospitality Hire SA is seeking an experienced Director of Food & Beverage for a well-established 4-star luxury hotel in Cape Town. This senior leadership role requires a commercially minded hospitality professional with a strong operational background, capable of leading large Food & Beverage teams while driving profitability, service excellence, and guest satisfaction across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Full oversight of restaurants, bars, banqueting, conferencing, and events
- Strong financial management including budgets, forecasting, cost control, and margins
- Driving revenue growth, upselling initiatives, and operational efficiencies
- Leading, mentoring, and developing F&B management and operational teams
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and liquor legislation
- Delivering consistently high service standards aligned with a luxury guest experience
Requirements
- Relevant hospitality or Food & Beverage management qualification
- Minimum 5–8 years’ senior Food & Beverage management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and large teams
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in high-volume, service-driven environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (if applicable)
