Some of the perks Dynamic team environment Flat organisational structure Professional but cool culture Trendy, modern & comfortable office environment Always trying new stuff, so good learning opportunities Growing business and hence significant opportunity What we are looking for An after sales manager with technical experience in vehicle inspection, reconditioning and after sales client management – who will lead the after-sales service department under our seven-day return policy and 30-day promise. You will need a professional attitude and be able to communicate to customers ; be passionate about cars and the people who drive them. You would need to be a problem solver and have the ability to think on your feet, the confidence to work independently and make quick decisions using sound judgement that is fair and rationale. You must have experience in dealing with after sales conflict and be ready and willing to manage these difficult situations with customers. You must care but balance the company position against the often-unrealistic demands of a customer. As getWorth we wish to dominate the after sales space in the used car market. It is a critical differentiator. Required Duties Aftersales Lead the after sales team/department The department is the first point of contact for after sales customers Daily Customer and Supplier contact and co-ordination (Phone and Email) Set realistic expectations that you meet with your customers Be a direct point of contact for customers wherever necessary Provide input to your line manager on what is necessary to improve customer after sales experience Coordinate, plan and manage after sales with customers and suppliers As an example, this role would include responsibility to arrange flatbeds, accommodation and rental replacements whenever justified General Expectations Provide an 11- star customer service experience (convenient, transparent, professional) Be able to deal with customer conflict rationally and objectively Follow processes ensuring utmost cost/effort efficiency and professionalism Ability to work well within a team environment Clearly communicate with your customers and sales teams to educate and guide throughout the process by always setting realistic expectations Minimum requirements Categorised: Operational role Matric Minimum 5yrs relevant experience in the motor industry as a Service Advisor or acting in an equivalent Vehicle Technical experience (preferably including qualifications) absolutely necessary Ability to prioritise and make sound decisions under pressure Ability to work under pressure due to client negative experience (after sales) Excellent communication skills in English – spoken and written Applicants fluent in additional languages (Xhosa; Zulu; Afrikaans) would be given preference Hands on approach High attention to detail Problem solving mentality Contactable references No criminal record Valid Drivers license (code 08) and own transport Character Traits Passion for people and cars you will be working with them every day! Extremely well organized with attention to detail Confident and able to make sound decisions without supervision Trustworthy & Responsible Able to work independently and with autonomy Professional disposition and ability to work under pressure Salary Scale & Benefits R200 000 – R230 000 Cost to Company per year Stand by allowance for 24/7 availability (R9000 per year) Working Hours Operational Roles are required to work a six-day (45 hour) week which includes Saturdays Public holidays will be worked as scheduled Non-Operational Roles are required to work variable hours often outside of standard working hours and this can include Weekend and/or Public Holidays as scheduled and dependent on the role
