About the Role
A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced National Planning & Data Optimisation Manager to drive data-led decision-making, optimise national planning, and improve operational efficiency across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical expertise and a proven track record of delivering measurable business improvements through data analysis and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse operational, production, supply chain, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and manage SQL/ERP data to ensure accurate, real-time reporting.
- Lead national production and inventory planning aligned with demand forecasts and capacity.
- Manage and optimise forecasting processes using demand planning systems.
- Conduct SKU performance, waste, and efficiency analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement and monitor cost-saving, process optimisation, and automation initiatives across departments.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and continuous enhancement of BI systems and planning tools.
- Provide strategic decision support through profitability analysis, scenario modelling, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, or related field.
- 37 years experience in data analytics, production planning, or operations optimisation.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, and demand planning tools (OneBeat advantageous).
- Solid understanding of supply chain, production, and planning processes.
- Proven ability to convert insights into measurable business improvements.
