About the Role
A well-established, high-volume hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Reception Shift Leader to support Front Office operations and ensure smooth service delivery across shifts. We require a confident front office professional with strong operational knowledge, leadership experience, and hands-on Opera PMS expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the reception team during assigned shifts
- Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest service flow
- Act as first point of escalation for guest and operational issues
- Complete shift handovers and basic reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Reception Shift Leader (essential)
- Proven experience working in a busy hotel environment
- Opera PMS experience – essential
- Strong understanding of Front Office operations and procedures
- Ability to supervise and support reception teams during shifts
- Confident handling of guest queries, complaints, and service recovery
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) – essential
