Job Summary A 4-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Reservationist to join its Reservations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling guest reservations efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service and ensuring accuracy across all booking channels. Key Responsibilities Handle individual (FIT) reservations via phone, email, and online platforms Capture, amend, and cancel reservations accurately on the hotel PMS Respond to guest and agent enquiries in a timely and professional manner Ensure correct application of rates, packages, and promotions Liaise with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams as required Maintain accurate guest profiles and reservation records Upsell hotel products and services where appropriate Follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards Requirements Previous experience in a Reservations or Front Office role within a 4/5* hotel environment Working knowledge of a hotel PMS (Opera or similar advantageous) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and administrative ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional, service-oriented approach Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their CV along with a recent profile photo.
