About the Role
As a Retail Sales Manager at Career Circuit, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the retail store, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of customer service, staff, stock and inventory workers, cashiers, and sales associates.
- Interview and hire employees, direct training, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Set work schedules and assign job duties for efficiency.
- Provide customer service, including answering questions or responding to customer complaints.
- Track inventory, place merchandise orders, monitor sales, sign off cash drawers reconciliations and receipts, and inspect the store to adjust product displays.
- Ensure promotions are run accurately and to the Company’s standards.
- Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales.
- Use information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
Requirements
- Syspro experience required
- Understanding of Retail processes and procedures
- At least 4-5 years experience in Retail Sales
- Previous Retail Management experience at least 2-3 years
- Relevant experience and knowledge in the Industrial Hardware, Steel & Fluid Control Industries
