A pioneering software company is seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Consultant to lead data projects and deliver business insights through advanced modeling. With a strong strategic and technical expertise, the ideal candidate will drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data science projects and supervise a team of analysts
- Analyze industry trends and client data to create strategic roadmaps
- Maintain client relationships and explain technical findings to stakeholders
- Build predictive models and forecasting algorithms using large datasets
- Develop KPI frameworks and dashboards to track business initiatives
- Stay current with emerging technologies and share best practices
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and service offerings
- Oversee data collection and cleaning processes to ensure high-quality inputs for modeling
- Provide strategic recommendations on cost optimization and risk management using alternative data
Requirements
Degree in a quantitative field like data science, engineering, or mathematics. Seven years in senior data science roles with leadership experience. Three years of experience in strategic or management consulting. Proficiency in Python and SQL for machine learning and data analysis. Experience with big data tools like PySpark, Azure Synapse, and Databricks. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
