About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservationist to join our luxury lodge and wellness retreat in Cape Town. As the primary point of contact for all reservation enquiries, you will engage with discerning travellers seeking more than just a stay, but meaningful, personalised experiences. Your ability to listen intuitively and connect with guests will be key to shaping their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all reservation enquiries
- Create personalised pre-arrival communication to enhance the guest experience
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through confident, guest-centric sales techniques
- Maximise revenue through upselling of suites, villas, and curated experiences
- Maintain detailed knowledge of rates, packages, and seasonal offerings
- Liaise with operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements
Minimum 23 years experience in a reservations role within luxury hospitality
Previous experience in a lodge, safari, or nature-based property environment advantageous
Proven ability to convert enquiries and drive occupancy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Experience with Opera PMS
