Hire Resolve is seeking a Revit/CAD Technical Modeler for our client in their Cape Town office. The role involves preparing and delivering complex Revit/BIM models and AutoCAD engineering drawings. Candidates will be evaluated based on their skill level, with a skills assessment required upon shortlisting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to create Revit/BIM models and AutoCAD drawings.
- Assist with day-to-day BIM workflows and align them with organizational goals.
- Mentor junior staff on Revit/CAD best practices.
- Model and produce designs for:
- Wet-services and drainage
- HVAC systems
- Fire and life safety
- Electrical systems
- Work alongside engineering teams and report to team leaders.
- Ensure drawings meet quality standards, checking for design defects.
- Set up BIM models and create families.
- Liaise with external project coordinators for BIM-related issues.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification or proven relevant experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in MEP Building services Revit/BIM modeling.
- Multi-disciplinary MEP experience is a plus.
