Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in sales / marketing or relevant field. A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
- Successful work experience as a sales and marketing associate, marketing assistant, or similar position with at least 3 years’ experience preferably within sales of educational products.
- Strong working knowledge of marketing and sales industry, including digital tools, CRMS and techniques
- Significant experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, web analytics, and Google AdWords
- Exceptional communication, email and presentation skills
- This is an on-site role
DUTIES
- Use a data base of leads to help pre-qualify clients
- Use both standard e-mail, cold calls and tailored outreach e-mails to present the value of the courses to various professional entities- be it professional bodies, small to medium scale AECFM firm and larger engineering, mining and construction firms
- Based on nature of professional bodies – design a plan to present courses to their members or affiliates
- Once clients are at the final stage – present pre- designed terms per client preference or relationship type with the assistance of and support of the local senior management staff
- On board clients using systems showing how to book courses and manage their client accounts based on type of client – (agent, wholesale, etc)
- Conduct market research and identify new opportunities through references to the handbook, trade fares, curated events and other online sources
- Gather and analyse consumer behaviour data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
- Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics using data base that track client acquisition life cycles and communicating these to local senior management and trustees
- Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events
- Coordinate with the marketing design and content teams to generate digital and print advertising material
- Maintain and update impeccable records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasting reports
- Monitor and report competitors` marketing and sales activities
