Job Description
A leading multi-disciplinary consulting company in Cape Town is looking for a ?????? ????????? ?????? ???????? / ???????????? to join their team!
Requirements:
- BEng or BTech
- Proficient in Civil Designer, AutoCAD and Civil3D design software
- Minimum of 8 years specific roads design experience is a pre-requisite
- Preferably registered with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
Responsibilities:
- Highly competent in geometric design of roads and drawing production standards of national and provincial authorities
- Extensive experience in complex road projects involving freeway interchange design, major provincial roads, urban arterial roads, dual carriageways, major intersections, roundabouts, road marking, drainage etc.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, requiring co-ordination between discipline interfaces, such as, geotechnical, structures, materials, transportation, environmental etc
- Produce 3D visualization of road designs
- Preparation of road infrastructure design reports
- Preparation of tender documentation, including specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
- Experience with COLTO, COTO & general conditions of contract would be advantageous
- Site experience would be advantageous
