What we’re looking for:
- 510+ years in product ownership, ideally in FinTech (e.g. banking, RCS, credit/loans)
- Strong B2C/consumer product background
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Degree required; Honours a big plus
- Background with reputable companies essential
- Innovative, open-minded, and delivery-focused
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company objectives and user needs.
- Conduct detailed market and competitor research to identify trends, gaps, and innovation opportunities in the financial services space.
- Gather and interpret user feedback and behavioural data to identify pain points and guide feature development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, engineering, design, and marketing to define and prioritise product features and functionality.
- Own the product backlog write and prioritise user stories and ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Drive end-to-end product development: from idea, prototyping, testing, MVP rollout, to full market launch and iteration.
- Lead cross-functional teams and inspire a culture of innovation, agility, and delivery excellence.
- Manage product performance metrics (adoption, engagement, retention, revenue) to assess impact and guide optimisation.
- Work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure a seamless and user-centric product experience.
- Plan and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment in product design and functionality.
- Act as the voice of the customer, translating real-world problems into scalable product solutions.
- Build business cases for new initiatives, including financial projections and resource planning.
- Stay current with FinTech trends and technological advancements (especially in payments, credit, and B2C lending).
- Report regularly to executives and stakeholders on product progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Mentor junior product team members and contribute to a high-performance product culture.
- Champion agile methodologies and best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
