Job Description

Hire Resolve is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our client, an international chemical manufacturing company, in Vanderbijlpark. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting and selling our products, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends in the chemical industry.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base.
  • Act as a technical advisor to clients, offering expertise on product selection, application, and usage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in technical sales, chemical sales knowledge will be beneficial, preferably in the Vanderbijlpark area
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients.
  • Ability to identify and analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple client accounts
