GUEST HOUSE MANAGER: SALARY TBC Cedar Wood Recruitment is now recruiting for a GUEST HOUSE MANAGER at a privately-owned, family-run establishment, offering 12 appointed en-suite bedrooms. The Guest House is a tranquil enclave near the vibrant Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be someone with a genuine passion for hospitality, excellent leadership qualities, and a strong sense of humour. Requirements: Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Experience Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role (guesthouse, lodge, or boutique hotel management). Strong working knowledge of online booking systems (Apply Below, Agoda, Expedia, etc.). Experience with RoomRaccoon or similar property management software is highly advantageous. Fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is a strong advantage given the international guest base. Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural flair for hospitality. Highly organised, proactive, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities independently. A personable, mature individual who values teamwork, efficiency, and genuine guest connection. Act as the primary point of contact for guests, managing check-ins, check-outs, and overall guest satisfaction.
