About the Role

We are seeking a Registered/Enrolled Nurse to join our team as an Independent Mobile Nurse. As an independent mobile nurse, you will be free to set your own schedule while earning an additional income. You will conduct insurance medicals, including a range of blood tests, prepare written medical reports and questionnaires, and travel to clients’ homes for various services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct insurance medicals, including blood tests
• Prepare written medical reports and questionnaires
• Travel to clients’ homes for mobile baby vaccinations
• Administer vaccinations to babies at home
• Provide home-based care services, including IV administration and wound care
• Conduct health assessments at companies, offering services such as finger-prick cholesterol and glucose screenings, HIV testing, BMI calculations, and vision screenings
• Complete comprehensive reports electronically on Wrap

Requirements

• SANC Registered
• Phlebotomy experience
• Access to a smart device and a car
• Experience in midwifery, paediatrics, and/or baby vaccinations (for mobile baby vaccinations)
• Experience in ICU, trauma, or High care, Renal/Dialysis (for home-based care services)

Qualifications

• Formal education/certifications: SANC Registration

Salary & Benefits

• Base rate per completed appointment: R220.50
• Base rate for a no-show appointment: R99.75
• Fuel levy per appointment: R12.20 (if not claimed as an OA appointment)
• Incentive: 18.44% of total earnings within each billing period (earned only for error-free work)
• Hourly Rate: R170.00 per hour spent on-site
• NURSE RATE: R350.00 per appointment

Wellness Events

• Compensation is provided on an hourly basis for on-site work
• Requires registration with SANC and a clear criminal history

About the Role

As a Registered/Enrolled Nurse with Wellness Health Insurance Pathology Services SA, you will have the opportunity to work as an Independent Mobile Nurse, conducting insurance medicals and preparing written medical reports and questionnaires. You will also be involved in various services such as health assessments at companies, home-based care, and mobile baby vaccinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct insurance medicals, including a range of blood tests
• Prepare written medical reports and questionnaires
• Travel to client appointments and prepare them for testing
• Attend appointments as scheduled and complete lab forms accurately
• Provide on-site services such as finger-prick cholesterol and glucose screenings, HIV testing, BMI calculations, and vision screenings (Snellen Chart)
• Administer mobile baby vaccinations in collaboration with clients and Dis-Chem
• Conduct home visits for members aged 65 and above to prevent hospitalizations through proactive reporting
• Complete comprehensive reports electronically on Wrap

• Experience in ICU, trauma, or High care, Renal/Dialysis (for home-based care)
