About the Role
The IT Demand Management Administrator plays a critical role in driving the flow of IT demand in a fast-paced, agile environment. This permanent position sits at the heart of IT delivery, ensuring that all incoming project demand is captured, prioritised, and aligned to available capacity. The ideal candidate will act as the central coordination point across business and IT, supporting Program Increment planning and ensuring that demand pipelines are accurate, transparent, and continuously optimised.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central point for logging and managing all IT project demand
- Coordinate and track resource capacity during Program Increment planning
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather and validate demand requirements
- Maintain and update the demand pipeline to reflect shifting priorities and capacity
- Support PI planning sessions with accurate demand and capacity insights
- Ensure adherence to demand management processes and escalate issues where needed
- Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders on timelines and allocations
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline demand processes
- Track and report on demand pipeline performance and status
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, or similar
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT demand management or project coordination
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, with SAFe experience preferred
- Experience with Program Increment planning processes
- Proficiency in Jira and Microsoft Office tools
