About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team at Express Employment Professionals Midrand. As a Centurion: Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Statements
Reconcile bank statements
Monitor cash flows
Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Support in preparing Tax Returns
Assist with audits and provide the necessary documentation
Maintain organized financial records and ensure data accuracy
Collaborate with other departments for financial reporting needs

Requirements

2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

Salary & Benefits

$45,000 – $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
