About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site and Plant Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations at a 30 TPH small-scale gold mining plant in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role involves overseeing plant performance, supervising site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a local workforce in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise gold processing plant operations (crushing, milling, gravity recovery)
  • Ensure consistent throughput and equipment functionality
  • Manage site logistics, ore feed, tailings, and water usage
  • Lead, train, and manage local staff and shift teams
  • Enforce site safety and security protocols
  • Maintain production records and report on plant performance

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in mining or plant operations
  • Strong practical knowledge of gravity-based recovery systems
  • Proven leadership in remote or small-scale operations
  • Mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Fluent in English. French or Swahili speaking will be an advantage.
