About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site and Plant Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations at a 30 TPH small-scale gold mining plant in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role involves overseeing plant performance, supervising site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a local workforce in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise gold processing plant operations (crushing, milling, gravity recovery)
- Ensure consistent throughput and equipment functionality
- Manage site logistics, ore feed, tailings, and water usage
- Lead, train, and manage local staff and shift teams
- Enforce site safety and security protocols
- Maintain production records and report on plant performance
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in mining or plant operations
- Strong practical knowledge of gravity-based recovery systems
- Proven leadership in remote or small-scale operations
- Mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Fluent in English. French or Swahili speaking will be an advantage.
