Job Summary
- Must have the ability to read and write in English
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and conduct repairs efficiently
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace regulations
- Ability to work independently and supervise an assistant
- Valid driver’s license
- 4-6 years relevant experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules. Required to be on standby and work overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicle according to road rules and company policy
- Safely transport and dispense of chemicals according to the SOP’s
- Maintain and ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and good condition of ALL the company’s systems
- Maintain and service of the company’s odour control and dosing systems on a scheduled basis
- Keep to the maintenance schedules issued and report any problems encountered on sites and systems
- Maintenance, services and repairs include but not limited to, electrical systems and components and mechanical systems and components
- Installation and set-up of new systems offered by the company according to specification
- Inspect, assess and repair systems and components thereof
- Keep systems in good working order through regular upkeep
- Complete service sheets and accurate recordkeeping of all Work Orders on MobiWork
- Safekeeping of company assets, vehicles, equipment and tools
- Ensuring all are in good working order and to report any damages, malfunctioning or theft of the before mentioned assets
- Organize and clean workshop, premises and sites where work has been performed
- Ensuring safe work environment and practices for yourself and co-workers at all times including the use of Personal Protective Equipment, identify and assess risk and hazards
- Work closely with an assistant and take full responsible for assistants work quality, actions and safety when under supervision
- Manage stock issued, usage and reporting. Ensuring correct quantities are booked in and out
- Perform duties and tasks required by Operations Manager and or required by the Company
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service
