About the Role

A well-established Dental Practice in Centurion, Pretoria, is seeking a skilled, HPCSA-Registered Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join their busy and dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be professional, organised, and able to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing patients for procedures
Assisting the dentist during treatments
Sterilising instruments and maintaining a clean and organised treatment area
Taking X-rays
Managing patient records
Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment book
Answering and managing phone calls and email enquiries in a friendly, professional manner
Welcoming patients and ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes
Following up on appointment reminders
Maintaining the reception area in a neat and welcoming condition
Assisting with lab tasks and taking impressions
Providing patients with post-operative care instructions
Monitoring and restocking supplies
Ensuring all infection control protocols are strictly followed

Requirements

Active HPCSA Registration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, hard-working, and loyal individual
Computer literate
Experience with GoodX
Strong administrative and reception skills

Qualifications

Formal education/certifications (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits
