Roles and Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, networking devices)
Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Perform basic network installations and support (cabling, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
Carry out equipment replacements, upgrades, and system setups
Provide professional on-site support and client interaction
Complete job cards, service tickets, and technical documentation accurately
Follow company procedures, security standards, and safety requirements
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior technicians when necessary
 
Required Skills & Attributes
Solid working knowledge of computer hardware and IT equipment
Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently in the field
Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow processes and work within SLAs
 
Experience
Previous hands-on experience in IT support or field services preferred
Experience with Windows environments and basic networking is an advantage
 
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
Willingness to travel to client sites (mostly Pretoria and surrounding areas)
Flexible availability when required (including occasional after-hours work)
