About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Guesthouse Manager to lead our boutique guesthouse with events in Centurion, Gauteng. As a key player in the hospitality industry, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of guest service, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring seamless event management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of guest service
- Oversee daily operations
- Ensure seamless event management
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency
- Interact with guests, vendors, and team members
- Identify opportunities for upselling guest services and increasing revenue
- Manage budgets and oversee staff training
- Participate in community and networking events to promote the guesthouse brand
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar hospitality management role
- Relevant hospitality or hotel management qualification advantageous
- Thorough knowledge of local health and safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Proven track record in guest satisfaction and maintaining high review ratings
- Experience with inventory control and ordering supplies for day-to-day operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in guesthouse or hotel management
- Strong event coordination skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in property management systems and MS Office
Salary & Benefits
R20,000 – R25,000 per month, depending on experience
Live-in accommodation included
