- To oversee labour-and industrial relations related matters;
- To advice on labour-and industrial relations matters;
- To support operational units on labour-and industrial relations related matters;
- Representing the employer in negotiations and consultations with organized labour, subject to specific mandates;
- To chair disciplinary and grievance processes;
- Minimizing misconduct in the workplace and manage and mitigate NBCPSS and CCMA risks;
- Dealing with, inter alia, NBCPSS and CCMA processes and applications;
- Representing the employer in court, the NBCPSS, the CCMA and other forums;
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
- Grade 12
- Relevant university degree or diploma will be advantageous;
- Minimum of 3 years relevant IR experience preferably in the Private Security Sector;
- Sound and comprehensive knowledge of South African labour legislation;
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the functioning of the NBCPSS and CCMA;
- Computer literacy;
- Good interpersonal skills, communication and writing skills;
- Language proficiency: English and one other South African language ( read, write and speak);
- Accountability and independence;
- Must have excellent presentation, writing, verbal communication and report writing skills.
- Willing to work long hours when required.
- Willing to travel.
- Own reliable transport.
