About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Engineer to join our team as a Centurion. This contract-based role will be responsible for the administration, management, and monitoring of license services, ensuring seamless integration with our High Performance Computing (HPC) platform. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting complex CAE applications, infrastructure and services for advanced IT development demands, and empowering organizations to harness the power of HPC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration and Monitoring of license services incl. all servers and trials, both Linux and Windows
  • Client license tracking
  • Documentation of all processes and configuration (e.g., act toolchain, CMDB, ResolveIT, SAM)
  • Lead of operation meetings
  • Coordinate external contractors
  • Support and consulting license supplier (logs, test, new releases etc.)
  • Incident-, problem- and change management Handling and fixing IT-security issues Software migration and agent distribution Attendance in rolling on-call duty 24h/7 Investigating new platforms for license management

Requirements

  • System management experience in Ansible Automation Platform/Ansible Tower
  • Experience in License services, administration, and management such as OpenLM, Matlab, and FlexLM
  • Advanced experience in Kubernetes and Dynatrace
  • Agile Project Management knowledge and PIC processes
  • Experience in administrating Windows and Linux OS (client / server)
  • Thorough knowledge of Linux and Linux commands
  • Software License Management, installation updates, etc.
  • Experience with Ansible Tower or AWX for managing and scaling Ansible automation

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • ITIL certification (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 6 years IT working experience
  • ITIL process knowledge and work experience (Required)
