About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Officer to join our team. As a Centurion in sales, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through field visits, networking, and referrals
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitors, and industry trends
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Build and maintain long-term, positive relationships with clients
- Handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
- Present and demonstrate products/services to potential clients
- Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, or marketing campaigns
- Prepare sales quotations and proposals
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers
- Close deals to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate sales records
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, leads, and conversions
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, logistics) to fulfill orders
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 2-4 Years experience preferably within the food industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and presentation abilities
- Customer Service Orientation
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
