Centurion: Project Engineer

Responsibilities Take full ownership of assigned projects from planning to completion Break down projects into manageable work packages Review and approve design documentation before construction Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Liaise with clients and consultants to maintain alignment and satisfaction Manage and mentor project managers and technical staff Continuously improve systems and processes for efficient project delivery Ensure accurate invoicing and documentation Act as a technical representative in client meetings Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years in industrial project engineering or related sectors Proven experience managing project execution and engineering teams Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams Hands-on knowledge of all project lifecycle stages, including procurement, design, and construction Qualifications B-Tech or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering (essential) Category C Designer certification (essential) Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Projects Valid drivers license and willingness to travel Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
