About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Agent to join our team as a Centurion. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and driving revenue growth through effective revenue optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reservations and bookings in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
- Utilize Hotsoft reservation management system to process bookings and manage room inventory
- Provide excellent guest service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Collaborate with the revenue team to optimize pricing strategies and minimize losses
- Manage group bookings and ensure seamless execution of events
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with hotel standards
Requirements
- Matric certificate required
- Excellent Afrikaans and English language skills (both verbal and written)
- 2-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Skilled with reservation management systems
- Experience with revenue optimization techniques
- Guest service-oriented approach
- Knowledge of hotel booking systems, preferably Hotsoft
