Queenstown: Loading Supervisor – Meat Traders

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loading Supervisor to join our team at the Meat Traders Abattoir in Queenstown. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient loading and dispatch of meat products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload meat products from warehouse and trucks in accordance with quality standards
• Supervise loaders and drivers to ensure accurate picking, checking, and loading
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments using computer systems
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues related to loading and dispatch
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Wholesale Manager

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• 1–2 years’ experience in loading, dispatch, warehouse or cold store operations
• Previous experience in a team leader or senior loader role an advantage
• Basic computer literacy (ability to work with picking lists, invoices and simple spreadsheets)
• Experience working in a cold chain / refrigerated environment an advantage
