Queenstown: Loading Supervisor – Meat Traders

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loading Supervisor to join our team at the Meat Traders Abattoir in Queenstown. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient loading and dispatch of meat products to our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload meat products from the abattoir to trucks and warehouses
• Ensure accurate picking and checking of goods to prevent damage or loss
• Manage the loading dock team to achieve operational efficiency
• Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and quality
• Provide clear instructions and support to loaders and drivers as needed

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• 1-2 years’ experience in loading, dispatch, warehouse or cold store operations, preferably in meat, food or FMCG
• Basic computer literacy (ability to work with picking lists, invoices and simple spreadsheets)
