We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test and Automation Engineer/ Department Manager Centurion to join our client’s team, specializing in R&D and manufacturing for the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electronics manufacturing, IoT production systems, and advanced test automation. This role offers an opportunity to test skills in a rigorous environment with high engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Department Ownership & Production Delivery
- Test Architecture, maintain, and enforce standardised LabVIEW-based test frameworks, designed for modular hardware abstraction and long-term maintainability.
- Electronics, Firmware & IoT Test Engineering
- Client & Operational Support
Requirements
- BEng / BTech Electronic Engineering qualification
- Advanced LabVIEW expertise with proven experience building scalable, production-grade test frameworks
- Strong background in electronics manufacturing test systems
- Proficiency with PCB design using Altium Designer
- Embedded systems development using C/C++ for microcontrollers
- Experience with IoT device testing, provisioning, and production validation
- MySQL database design
- Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps
