About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service operations and drive efficiency, safety, and response times. As a Centurion in our team, you will be responsible for managing daily service activities, mentoring technicians, and ensuring high-quality maintenance and repair of refrigeration and compressor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor service technicians to ensure high performance
- Manage daily service operations: scheduling, workforce planning, and resource allocation
- Ensure timely, quality maintenance and repair of refrigeration and compressor systems
- Improve processes to boost efficiency, safety, and response times
- Monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and report on service performance
Requirements
- 5+ years in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance
- 2+ years in a leadership or service management role
- Technical expertise in compressors, electrical systems, and PLC controls
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve service quality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- SAQCC Gas Category B8 license (advantageous)
- Solid foundation in compressor maintenance and refrigeration systems
- Valid driver’s license; able to travel locally and internationally
- Experience in service management or supervisory roles
