Centurion: Utilities Team Leader – Property & Municipal Accounts posted by Flair TM
Job Description
You will ensure accurate utility accounting, optimize costs, and manage strong relationships between landlords, tenants, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee utility management: account openings, council queries, reporting, consumption monitoring, and recovery.
- Drive cost savings through leak management and optimization of water and electricity use.
- Ensure accuracy of financial reports, accruals, and municipal bill vetting.
- Conduct tariff audits, energy assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Implement and monitor risk management and compliance with relevant acts and bylaws.
- Provide leadership and support to the team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a utilities environment.
- Strong background in the property industry (essential).
- Proven experience in creditors/account reconciliations and payments.
- Valid driver’s licence.
