ASSISTANT FINANCIAL MANAGER, HOTEL NEAR MILNERTON We are looking for a young, energetic and mouldable candidate. Responsibilities : Prepare and analyse monthly management reports Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Oversee and reconcile bank statements, credit cards payments and petty cash Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth Support the annual audit process and ensure compliance with accounting standards Provide financial guidance to department heads and managers Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures Perform regular financial analysis to identify variances and make strategic recommendations Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies and procedures Assist in preparing financial forecasts, budget, investment analysis and cash flow management Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and auditors, to maintain strong working relationships Requirements : Bachelors degree in finance / accounting or related field Minimum of two years experience in a similar financial role within the hospitality industry Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in financial software such as Excel and other MS Office applications Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Exceptional organisation and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
