Job Description

Service Technician (Volvo Specialist Workshop)1. Job Purpose – The Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Volvo vehicles in line with manufacturer standards and Company quality benchmarks. The role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering safe and reliable service. By ensuring accuracy in repair work, adherence to safety procedures, and effective communication with the Workshop Foreman, the Service Technician contributes directly to workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the companys reputation as a leading Volvo specialist.2. Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Servicing & RepairCarry out scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and system checks in line with Volvo service standards.Perform complex diagnostic work using Volvo diagnostic equipment, software, and technical data.Conduct repairs across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.Complete repair orders and job cards with accurate details of work performed, time taken, and parts used.Ensure all work meets Company and Volvo specifications for quality and safety.Diagnostics & Fault-FindingUse diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and root causes.Report complex technical issues to the Workshop Foreman and collaborate on solutions.Test repaired systems and components to confirm proper functionality before vehicle release.Document diagnostic findingComprehensive JD available.
