Our client, an established, well-known, and market-leading service provider in Ceres, is looking for a hardworking and experienced Mechanic to join their team and help maintain company assets in excellent condition to deliver a world-class service. A market-related remuneration package, including a contribution to a Retirement Annuity and Funeral Fund.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effective maintenance of Company vehicles and trailers.
• Electrical work on vehicles and equipment.
• COF and roadworthiness of vehicles.
• Service records of vehicles.
• Stock Control.
• Assistance with unplanned breakdowns.
• Ad-hoc tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric certificate.
• A Mechanical Certificate/Diploma will be advantageous.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance of trucks, equipment and trailers.
• Ability to perform and operate under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Code 8 Drivers license, preferably EC Drivers license.
