Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Welcome & Museum Host team
Oversee day-to-day operations, duty management, and exhibit performance
Ensure outstanding, educational, and immersive visitor experiences
Develop and deliver tours, workshops, events, and new guest experiences
Support interpretation and implementation of new exhibits and content
Collaborate with marketing on content and visitor growth initiatives

About You
Bachelor’s degree (General Arts or related)
Proven experience managing a museum, heritage site, or visitor attraction
Strong knowledge of South African and Anglo-Boer War history
Confident communicator with excellent storytelling skills
Experienced people manager with a guest-focused mindset
Creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable with emerging technologies
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Full, clean driving license
