About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner to join our team in Cullinan, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing materials to ensure efficient production and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective material planning strategies to meet business objectives
- Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve material supply chain issues
- Conduct statistical analysis and apply mathematical models to inform material planning decisions
- Manage project timelines and resources to ensure timely delivery of materials
Requirements
- 2 years operational supply chain experience required
- 1 year FMCG experience advantageous (not essential)
Qualifications
- Formal education or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field (no specific qualifications mentioned)
