Durban: AI (RAG) Developer

Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize backend systems and RAG pipelines using .NET technologies and AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face). Build and maintain RESTful APIs for AI retrieval and generation functionalities. Implement automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure deployment reliability. Integrate backend systems with internal and external services to deliver scalable microservices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software. Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in backend .NET development (C#, .NET Core/6/7). Strong experience with RESTful APIs, database integration, and scalable architecture design. Experience with LLM APIs, RAG architectures, or vector search technologies is a plus. Proficient in testing, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus). Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred. Passion for AI, software development, and continuous learning.
