- Matric (Essential)
- B.Com Degree (Advantageous)
- Technical Qualification (Advantageous)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of sales experience
- Must have experience in the Construction, Manufacturing, Mining & Agriculture Industry
- Experience in strategic accounting, budgeting, and financial control
- Proven ability in key account and dealer network management
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Syspro systems
- Conduct visits to existing and potential clients to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
- Develop and expand the territory in line with the company’s growth objectives
- Oversee budgets, costing, and overall profitability within the assigned territory
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through effective use of the CRM system
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, and credit terms; draft and manage contracts
- Track customer requirements and competitor activities, providing regular reports to management
- Engage with clients after sales to ensure satisfaction and deliver continued support
- Collaborate with the credit control team to facilitate the collection of outstanding payments
- Support cross-selling and upselling strategies to enhance client value and profitability
- Maintain clear communication and high standards of customer service throughout the post-sale process
- Cold call and prospect new business opportunities
- Report to management on sales performance and market trends
- Monitor and analyze competitor products and market conditions
- Assess clients’ needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Develop presentations, reports, and proposals to illustrate product benefits
