About the Role
As a driver at Bakepride Ltd, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to their destinations on time while also ensuring efficient route planning and vehicle maintenance. You will work closely with dispatchers, clients, and passengers to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers or goods to their destinations on time
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes using navigational tools and considering factors like traffic and road conditions
- Conduct pre- and post-trip safety inspections, refuel vehicles, perform basic maintenance, and schedule necessary repairs
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo or luggage, ensuring items are properly secured and delivered in good condition
- Complete and maintain necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, mileage records, and receipts
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, clients, and passengers to provide updates or address concerns
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Previous professional driving experience (often preferred)
- Physical fitness to lift and carry objects, and sit for extended periods
- Punctuality, reliability, time management, and good communication skills
