Location: Durban

Our profitable client who is a leader in their field, is looking for a competent Finance Manager to lead a division of their business.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and Exco reports
• Review and action of balance sheet and financial variances
• Provide financial analysis to operational areas of the business
• Monitor and support debtors and creditors, including reconciliations
• Compile and post month-end journals, budgets, and daily cash forecasts
• Ensure statutory reporting, compliance documentation, and audit requirements are met
• Develop and implement internal controls and cash flow management strategies
• Lead stakeholder engagements and provide leadership to the Finance Division
• Manage a team of financial support staff

Technical Skills

• MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Power BI for financial reporting and analytics – advantageous
• Pastel Accounting, Pastel Audit Mate
• SARS E-Filing, Easy Filing
• Sage AccPac, SAP

Ideal Profile

• Strong background in manufacturing and/or retail finance
• Proven ability to drive change and influence stakeholders
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Professional qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA or BComm Finance) preferred
