Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Drawing up new designs for buyers to sell off. Briefed by Merchandiser. Creating storyboards by customer (Dept) and by month once sold. Loading of FINAL cads onto SYNC PICS as well as updating the Production file. Uploading storyboards/ cads onto the server and ensuring they are updated when changes are made. Sizing up of graphics (once correct artwork is received from printer) Briefing Printers: on graphic developments if cad designer cant do themselves. To have some graphic experience would be a plus but not essential i.e. to create print graphics for cads. Licensing – submitting online approvals concept, strikes, and bulk production. Chasing up on print developments and strike-offs. Bulk Print Nests markers.
Requirements:
Design experience in the fashion industry Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) Able to put designs to paper professionally and remarkably for Merchandiser to sell off CAD. To be able to work fast, under pressure, and be able to prioritize your workload efficiently and effectively. Keeping the server updated for cads/files to be easily accessible.
