Our successful Health and Safety Managers · ensure that the company is strictly compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and align best practice associated with Property Management processes and programs · maintaining a safe workplace environment , ensuring that all employees, contractors and third party events adhere to health and safety standards · developing and implementing health and safety programs, conducting safety inspections, providing safety training and ensuring compliance with the local KZN municipality (SAPS, Metro Police, Health, Fire and Labour Department) · closely monitor staff, tenants, events and service providers compliance with health and safety regulations and take prompt corrective action where required · maintain emergency preparedness systems, policies, regular training and updates to Fire, Life Safety · compliance with internal and external OHSA audits and risk management processes · ensure that property projects strictly comply with OHSA requirements, risk mitigation strategies and policy control · manage onsite contractor services : cleaning management, pest control, medical supply, paramedics and clinic services · excellent attention to detail to identify hazards, incidents reports, Inspection of equipment , machinery and unsafe conditions · work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards consistently and accurately.
