About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our client in Durban, South Africa. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources activities, aligning with the overall business strategy. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s compliance with employment laws and regulations, while developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making job offers
- Manage all legal and statutory requirements within the company.
- Manage the BBBEE program
- Oversee employee relations, address grievances, and manage disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employees’ skills and knowledge
- Manage performance evaluation processes and provide guidance to managers and employees
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management review
- Manage all IT aspects and general admin
Requirements
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic Microsoft package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with section 189 A, CCMA cases and Union Matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R300K/yr – R420K/yr. Medical Aid, RA, Fuel Allowance, Cellphone Allowance.
