Responsibilities:
Assist in range building and supplier sourcing Manage and resolve production and lead time challenges Oversee costing and margin management Drive sales and achieve targets Develop strong connections with buyers Conduct trend research, purchasing, and presenting ranges to buyers Interpret buyer briefs and prepare costings Negotiate effectively with buyers
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Fashion/Clothing or a related field Previous experience in a similar role Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with buyers and suppliers Solid understanding of costing and price negotiations

Job Summary
Requirements:
Matric and relevant qualification Fashion experience specifically within footwear Ability to work independently and within a team. Must be an out the box thinker, deadline driven with excellent time management skills. Duties and responsibilities: Assist with trend and updates based on previous seasons styling. Assist in making sure that all fabrics and approvals are done with the buyers. Local store visits, Internet research. Attending briefing meetings with Senior merchandiser. Work closely with both the Senior Merchandiser and the coordinating teams to ensure all admin is up to date. Help set up and send out cost sheets to suppliers on behalf of the merchandise team. Manage the product process from development and design to briefing the designers.
