About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our team as a Leadership Development Facilitator. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating our Leadership Development Camps and Training with partner schools and NGOs. You will also play a crucial role in building a solid team of 20 part-time facilitators who will work with us for one to two years on a part-time basis. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about seeing change happen in the city through leadership development, committed to our organization’s aims, and confident to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate camps & onsite trainings
  • Create video content to advertise to schools
  • Create video content to introduce ourselves and our team
  • Establish and maintain an Instagram account
  • Liaise with schools
  • Liaise with Venues for camp bookings
  • Develop custom programmes, using our templates, for each group
  • Facilitate programmes as head facilitator
  • Manage the group of facilitators
  • Produce a report for the school after each camp / training
  • Update our current content and add in a digital component
  • Update our current leadership activities & add new ones
  • Create new programmes under our leadership development offerings

Requirements

  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before
  • Matric (Background in Psychology or Development Studies will be a plus)
