Job Description

You will be expected to perform the following Key Functions:

• Handle import & export (air & sea) shipments / files
• Must know the Incoterms
• Must know the import & export procedures when handling these files
• Must be able to liaise with our overseas offices
• Arrange necessary documents
• Little knowledge on perishable / reefer shipments (document requirements, PPECB inspections, etc)
• Must be able to do estimates/quotes
• Liaise directly with the shipping lines, transporters, Customs, all other suppliers
• Liaise directly with the customers (origin & destination)
• Must be able to arrange insurance, where necessary
• Creditors` disbursements and process debtor`s invoices
• Customer service orientation – Able to handle a demanding customer environment
• Comply with the requirements of the quality management system

Certificate/Diploma

Skills

• Must have strong imports (air, sea & road) background as well as exports (air, sea & road) background.
• Must know Cargowise
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to pay attention to details and work under pressure
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
