Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with operations management to analyze financial data, reduce costs, and boost profitability especially by identifying and reporting any budget variances.
• Maintain accurate and compliant financial records aligned with legal and departmental standards.
• Oversee and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring swift implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage the smooth, timely processing of creditor payments.
• Record capital expenditure and fixed assets with precision.
• Deliver exceptional support to internal stakeholders, meeting all accounting needs efficiently.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing accounting team.
• Ensure full compliance with company and gambling board accounting policies and procedures.
• Stay ahead of changes in tax and accounting regulations.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns accurately and on schedule.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
A completed BCom in Finance
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
