Durban North: Finance Administrator posted by Network Finance

Our client is looking for a committed Finance Administrator to support and help ensure seamless financial operations within a regulated gaming environment.

This role is based in Durban North.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Administration/Finance Controller by ensuring all finance administration activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Prepare and submit accurate month-end journals within specified deadlines.
• Identify potential risks by regularly reviewing processes and implementing improvements to strengthen internal controls and protect company assets.
• Provide professional, value-driven support to internal stakeholders for all finance and administrative requirements.
• Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently to maintain consistently high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Lead, guide, and mentor Admin Clerks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Work scheduled day shifts and weekends to ensure uninterrupted finance and administration functionality.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Matric or Degree in Accounting/Finance with a professional accounting qualification.
• 1+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Experience with Pastel Partner advantageous.
