About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meetings & Events Sales Manager to drive profitable growth across meetings, conferences, events, and weddings at our Hotel in Durban North. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively driving sales and conversion, managing relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive sales and conversion
- Relationship management
- Full pre-event and pre-wedding planning
- Clear; structured handover to the operations team
- Sales & Business Development Pipeline, Revenue & Reporting
Requirements
- Hospitality sales, conferencing, events or wedding sales experience preferred
- Experience dealing directly with wedding couples is a strong advantage
- An existing professional network within the corporate, events or wedding industry would be advantageous
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
R25 35 000 + Commission on confirmed business
