Durban: Production & After Sales Foreman (Electrical)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production & After Sales Foreman (Electrical) to join our team in Durban. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing teams effectively, handling battery management systems, and liaising with clients and team members. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production teams to ensure efficient workflow and consistent high-quality output.
• Oversee day-to-day production processes and support the implementation of quality control measures.
• Troubleshoot production breakdowns and assist with resolving technical issues.
• Report directly to the General Manager with regular updates and weekly reports.
• Ensure production standards and quality requirements are consistently met.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and productive work environment.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients from an aftersales perspective.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with both team members and clients.
• Lead aftersales activities and act as the link between technicians and customers.
• Support ongoing process improvements and operational development initiatives.

Requirements

• Matric Diploma, Degree, or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle (non-negotiable).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with lithium batteries, including assembly and/or building.
• Forklift license (advantageous).
• Basic coding or programming knowledge (advantageous).
• Technical knowledge of lithium battery systems and electrical solutions (advantageous).
